   I think that visual effects draw the audience more. Depending on what the effects are, they could change or enhance the mood of the scene. The visual effects also bring the scene to life. The effects make things look realistic, but they’re not. 

 

   Another useful way to use CGI is to create things that are real but may be too dangerous to use in real life. For example, snakes or sharks, or even things like dinosaurs. Visual effects can make a scene more exciting by creating things out of the ordinary or things that don’t exist like dragons or magical worlds.    The visual effects can also change the style of a movie like in Avatar where there are floating lands.

 

   Another example could be if a movie needs a specific color for the sky, they could change it with visual effects. The background for a movie could use a green screen. Overall, visual effects make a movie more interesting and appealing for the audience.
