The directions for this assignment were to research the different genres associated with the following media forms: radio, podcasts, film, TV, newspapers, magazines, video games and music.

Radio- Music, talk shows, news, sports, education, comedy, and specialty.
Podcasts- Comedy, true crime, storytelling, education, health and fitness, interviews,
news, documentaries, business, and technology.
Films- Action, comedy, horror, drama, romance, sci-fi, fantasy, animation and thriller.
TV- Most of the genres in film along with game shows, talk shows, and soap operas.
Newspapers- News reporting, opinion journalism, investigative journalism, feature writing,
sports journalism, entertainment journalism, business journalism, and science and
technology journalism.
Magazines- Fashion, lifestyle, health, fitness, travel, food and cooking, children, business,
news, and technology.
Video games- Action, adventure, role-play, simulation, strategy, sports, fighting, shooter,
